Cheer comes to an end.....

Chloe had her final cheer performance tonight. She has really enjoyed cheering and met some really sweet girls.

Way to go Chloe! :)

Princess Party

One of Lauren's little friends had her 4th birthday today........It was a fine princess party with all the fixin's.

Chloe and her friend Kayden helped the little girls do their makeup and hair. Here are a few cute pictures of the girls. Too cute! :)

Sad times

We are so saddened to say that Mike's Aunt Pat passed away yesterday. This has been hard on the family. As many of you know Mike's Dad passed away from lung cancer the summer of 2006 and two other uncles passed some years earlier. Death is tough on us, just not in our human understanding. I am so thankful that through Christ we know that life doesn't end when our mortal bodies give out. Aunt Pat's ashes will be spread where Mike's Dad's were at Nye beach in Oregon. They were such close siblings so this only makes sense. Please keep Mike's family in your prayers in the days ahead.

Ice Storm

I thought I would share some pictures we took last week during the ice storm. We were very blessed to have power with the exception of a couple of times but no longer than 4 hours each. So many of our friends and family were out of power for days. Some people from church are still using their generator as their power has not been restored. It was quite the ice storm.
