Baby Ella Kaye Ramsey!

What a blessed day! Ella Kaye Ramsey was born at 1:25 am this morning. She weighed in at 6 lbs 13 1/2 oz and 20 3/4 in length. Amanda had quite a delivery journey that ended in a c-section. She and Ella are doing well now. We went to visit them in the hospital today. Little Ella is just precious. Poor Amanda is pretty exhausted. We didn't get to visit with her as she was catching some much needed rest. Wanted to share little Ella with you all. There will definitely be more pictures to come in the days ahead. We are so happy for Alan & Amanda! :)

Happy 64th Birthday Mom!

Today is Mom's birthday! She has had a rough week as she went for a physical on Tues and found out that she needed to add more blood pressure medicine to what she was currently taking as her bp was significantly higher than normal. Unfortunately, she had a rough day today too as her blood pressure got really high so Dad & I took her to the Dr. They checked her out and sent her home to take it easy, maybe the medicine hadn't kicked in totally they said. Tonight Mike, the girls and I took supper and went to visit. I baked mom a birthday cake as well. She was excited, saying she hasn't had a birthday cake in years. We even sang happy birthday and had her blow out candles, just like kiddo days (we all need to feel young). She needed to feel special! Please remember her in your prayers. :)

Limo Time!

Chloe had a great day today! She and several other students were rewarded for their fundraising efforts with a Limo ride to the local DQ for ice cream. The kids were beyond excited when they realized they would be riding in a Hummer Limo. Lauren & I went along to chaperon so we rode with several groups to eat, for a drive and then back to school. It was so much fun to see smiles and hear the laughter. The kids so enjoyed it!
