It has been way too long since I have posted here on my blog. Thanks Amanda, my sweet niece, for getting me back in the groove. I know all you Facebookers see my thoughts all the time but I have been meaning to update my blog since Jules was born. If you want to follow our blog it is http://becksted.blogspot.com/.
Jules Ryann Becksted, our 3rd sweet girl, was born on her daddy's birthday, Nov 17th, 2010. What a sweet birthday gift right? We were so thrilled that she was healthy and happy. Her first days home she was very easy, however, mommy was a mess at times emotionally. Unfortunately, I am one of those mommys who experience some blues in those early days. Not at all as a result of her behavior as she was so easy. Just hormonally. I have great empathy for other new moms who experience this as it is very difficult. All things lined out after about 6 weeks and we began to find our routine.
She is now 3 months old and just a precious little girl. She is happy and content baby, sleeping through the night and just a joy to have in our family. I have to admit that I was very nervous when I got pregnant with her. I so want to be a good mom and I was afraid there just wouldn't be "enough of me" to go around. I had heard many say that it just all works out. I have found that to be true. It has been sweet to watch Mike....with Chloe he was oh so nervous and with Lauren he was hesitant at first, with Jules he is a pro. :) Such a good daddy, just getting right in and holding, changing her and watching her while I run to the store, etc. Chloe and Lauren adjusted so fast to having Jules. Lauren tells her lots of stories and thoroughly explains what we are doing. Chloe loves to hold her, rock her to sleep and is a huge help to me.

So, so thankful for Mike and the girls. God has blessed me with a wonderful family who I love more than I can begin to express. They mean the world to me!
