I have to share this comical time we had tonight.......The Big Top Circus came in to our little town this weekend so we figured we should head that way. Our girls have never been to a circus so we thought we would let them see what it was all about. Kids were free but adults were $14 so I guess you pretty much paid for the kids too. There were some cool acts but it was really funny in so many ways. Every time the announcer talked we had to hear the english and then spanish version. Lauren looked at me and said "I wish he would quit talking". The last act had to be the best (comically speaking). They announced that "so and so" all the way from Spain would be shot from a cannon. The man then stepped out. First of all, he looked like the rest of the family performing which made me question the Spain part, except that he had to be pushing his 70's. That wasn't the funny part. He was wearing a tight blue spandex suit and had a santa belly. I laughed and laughed. When they said from Spain I was thinking some really fit young guy. I guess it just caught me off guard. The poor guy had trouble getting in the cannon, which I'm sure I would to if I was his age. I am impressed that he is still willing to even try. :) Wow, was it funny to me. The girls really enjoyed it though.
