Komen Race for the Cure

Today was the official Race for the Cure in our area. Chloe and I did the Family Fun Run, in memory of my Aunt Sue, with some of our friends. It is humbling and inspiring all at the same time. To see the many women in pink t-shirts is tear encouraging, knowing they have faced trying times with breast cancer personally. My aunt was part of the Pink Divas. I ran into a friend of my Aunt Sue's at the Race. She and I both had tears as we discussed my Aunt's passing. She is missed greatly by her family and friends. I want to say a special thanks to the many who contributed to our personal pledge of $200. We raised $120 in cash and then acquired 5 runners too (totally $85) for a grand total of $205. It was great to be able to help the cause. :)
